The Federal Government officially responded to Arizonan citizens and employees this morning. This statement turned out to be everything it was expected to be–not much. While you are licensed by the state of Arizona to grow marijuana, the Federal Government will still be openly prosecuting individuals who engage in forms of crime like marijuana-related money laundering, and large-scale distribution of marijuana. The situation is no different in any other state regarding the Federal policy on marijuana.

However, July 1st will also be remembered as the day that Ahwatukee received a zoning “OK” from the Phoenix Zoning Board. This is a big step toward supporting the dispensary models that Arizona patients need for quick and easy access to medicine.
